Continued from Part 3
So while I am faxing, and making endless calls to the nice people in Ireland (which was about 7 days) no one can pay me, plus the money I have in my account cannot be withdrawn while it’s restricted. You can imagine the problems this can cause, but my biggest problem was that I was losing customers, I had customers calling me saying I would love to advertise my business with you but I can’t pay online and take advantage of your 10% discounted offer. PayPal claim that this restriction “which is now solved by the way” was nothing to do with my eBay account being suspended. (in my opinion this was most certainly too much of a coincidence).. So if you learn anything from this article make a note of this if you ever receive notification from eBay that you account has been restricted, immediately withdraw all your money from your PayPal account.

So to finish off this sorry tale I would like to end with this. As I said eBay killed my business, well it most certainly killed one of them. If they had listened to me and allowed me to continue to trade on eBay, rather that suspend me forever over a measly £2.00  dispute, I would be teaching people how to use eBay now, adding more potential powersellers to eBay’s fortune, but no they would much rather have Mrs Smith as a customer, making her monthly £2.00 payments for minor little products, they don’t need people like me, a loyal trustworthy customer who will help grow their empire by training new sellers who would themselves be groomed as powersellers each paying the extortionate listing fees eBay charge their UK clients. No they don’t care about the sellers, I just can’t understand the eBay policy they say their duty is to protect the buyer, but it is the sellers they rely on, it’s the sellers who in my oppinion are their real customers… (”eBay can you not see that it is the seller that’s important, and may often be right” ).  I would love to hear from anyone who has experienced something similar, or if you found this useful. Please post your comments on the following post eBay Killed My Business over a £2.00 Dispute

Thanks most of all for reading this article.
