April 2009 If you are wondering where I have
been for the past four weeks, no... not sunning myself on some exotic Island or
living it up as an Internet Marketer should, I have been sat in front of my
computers for almost four weeks changing my ******* Blog, you see the problem
many Internet Marketers face is that on occasion they actually have to do some
work. Although some will tell you that they make money while sitting in their
underpants, the real truth is... just like it is with most things you have to
put the work in too.
I decided that the Wordpress Blog Theme I choose
was just not allowing me to do what I wanted to do, and although I could have
paid someone else to sort it for me, sometimes you simply have to do some
things for yourself, what kind of world would we live in if everything was done
for us, personally I get great enjoyment from finishing tasks. Understandably
you can get much more done when you delegate or outsource some of your work,
but there is nothing better than self satisfaction.
One problem many
people suffer from is PROCRASTINATION.

One
book that has helped me over the years is that Best Seller many of you may have
read Eat That Frog by Brian
Tracy.
Brian explains that there are 21 ways to stop
procrastinating and get more done in less time. This new edition is revised and
updated throughout, and includes brand new information on how to keep
technology from dominating our time.
Now although there are 21 way in
this book in my opinion if I manage these five I never have a
problem.
- Simply get organized. Being unorganized
leads to chaos and feelings of being overwhelmed. Stop procrastination by
organising your life.
- Breakdown tasks into manageable chunks to
stop procrastination. Smaller tasks are less overwhelming that large jobs.
- Have discipline. Allow your desire for
success to overcome your desire to put things off.
- Positive motivation. Talk yourself up with
encouraging quotes. Even very successful people feed their minds with positive
input each day.
- Get someone else´s help to stop
procrastination. Ask someone to hold you accountable for completion of a task
you have been procrastinating about. My wife is brilliant at this one.
