Understanding The Law of Attraction & The Law of Attention?

Understanding the Law of Attraction is fundamental to how you can achieve success as an Internet Marketer. I was first made aware of the Secret by Rhonda Byrne back in 2007 during the hype and initial buzz it created when it was first launched. However I found that it was also similar to the philosophy illustrated in the book I had first read some years ago "Think & Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, but what really interested me was how the SECRET was packaged and marketed to millions of people worldwide. And since then how many other products have emerged as a result of it.

All the contributors to the SECRET all went on to create their own additional products, simply using the hype the Secret had created to get their products into the marketplace, just walk into any bookstore now and just see how many products in the self help and motivation section of the store make reference to the Secret. (this is a great example of how to apply the Law of Attention).

What is The Law of Attention?
When the Internet was first created the aim from the outset was to create an Information Super Highway, we where all propelled at high speed into the information age, but today we live in the ATTENTION AGE everyone who uses the Internet as a means acquiring wealth is crying out for attention and those that achieve it are the ones that find that they can milk it for all it's worth. The Law of Attention is just another key to the door to Internet success, getting your website to rank on the first page of Google or getting your article noticed and published on the front page of DIGG is one sure way of attaining the law of attention.

In marketing The Law of Attention has existed since the 1920s when the AIDA approach was put forward, stating that the consumers pass through the successive stages of ATTENTION - DESIRE - ACTION we now all know there is a little more to it than that (far more than I have time for in this post maybe next time), but my message to you all who are reading this post is that to succeed in anything you must apply both the Law of Attraction and the Law of Attention , your comments will be most welcome, thank you...

Marketing at Newcastle University and simply fell in love with the subject.
